Syrian Doctor Reflects On Situation In His Home Country

Here & Now's Robin Young sits down with Dr. Khaled Almilaji, a Syrian doctor who has recently come to the United States to study at Brown University for a master's degree in public health.

He is also spending his time working on projects in Syria, including building underground hospitals to protect patients from the civil war there.
