President Trump heads to Miami on Friday, where he’s expected to announce potential policy changes to the relationship between the U.S. and Cuba. Former President Obama announced a loosening of policy back in 2014, but critics say opening up Cuba to American businesses has done little to change the human rights and political situation in the country.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Alan Gomez (@alangomez), immigration reporter at USA Today, about how the policy might change, and how people are reacting.

This segment aired on June 14, 2017.
