Though George Frederic Handel's oratorio "Messiah" has become a Christmas staple, it was originally performed at Easter.

Here & Now's Robin Young takes a closer listen to some of the music of the piece with Ron Cohen, her former choir director at John F. Kennedy High School on Long Island.

This segment aired on December 21, 2018.
