United Airlines Could Cut Nearly 45% Of Employees

United Airlines announced it is cutting back the number of flights that will operate in August due to the decline in demand as coronavirus cases continue to surge across the U.S.

The company also announced it will send layoff warnings to 36,000 U.S. employees on or around October.
