Prescription Drug Abuse and Schools

Boston, MA - February 21, 2006 - Prescription drug abuse among high schools students is a growing problem according to recent studies and school administrators in Massachusetts.

It came to the fore last month, when a high school senior in Arlington committed suicide after allegedly drinking and taking a prescription anti-anxiety drug off-label.

Local police later arrested a high school student suspected of selling prescription drugs to students.
