'Great Expectations' Survey
By Bob Oakes

Listen to story (Real Audio)

BOSTON, Mass. - July 16, 2008 - Massachusetts' economic future may well depend on its ability to attract and keep young people. That's the focus of a new survey out today.

The public policy think-tank MassINC has polled 800 Massachusetts residents between the ages of 25 and 39 on both the pros and cons of life here, with some surprising results.

We talked about them with Dana Ansel. She's MassINC's Research Director. WBUR's Bob Oakes opens the conversation with this question: How does quality of life factor into the decision over whether to stay or leave the Bay State?
