The race for the House seat in Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District has turned into a bruising fight between Democratic incumbent Rep. John Tierney and his Republican challenger, former state Sen. Richard Tisei.

The two will debate for the first time Thursday afternoon, and questions about what Tierney knew about an illegal off-shore gambling operation run by his brothers-in-law are bound to come up. So are the charges that Tisei has embraced the conservative Tea Party movement.

We hear from both candidates.

Guests:

  • Richard Tisei, former state senator
  • U.S. Rep. John Tierney

This segment aired on September 26, 2012.
