Airbnb Ramps Up Marketing Campaign Against Proposed Boston Regulations

Last week, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh submitted a new proposal to regulate short term rentals. The proposal would eliminate investor units, require owners to live on the property for at least nine months a year, and also require "hosts" to register with the city and pay an annual fee. Airbnb has launched an ad campaign pushing for less restrictive regulations in Boston.
