Advocates at Northeastern University's Public Health Advocacy Institute are ready to sue e-cigarette company JUUL Labs over e-cigarette addiction among minors.

Institute leaders say JUUL deceptively markets highly-addictive nicotine products to minors, and they want the company to fund youth addiction treatment and prevention programs throughout Massachusetts.

Mark Gottlieb is the executive director of the Public Health Advocacy Institute at Northeastern. He joined WBUR's Morning Edition host Jack Lepiarz to talk about the threatened lawsuit.

This segment aired on April 30, 2019.
