Annissa Essaibi-George is a former Boston Public Schools high school teacher, a mother of 4 BPS students, a small business owner, a proud first-generation American of Tunisian and Polish immigrants and a lifelong Dorchester resident. She was elected to the Boston City Council in 2015 as an at-large member and currently serves as chair of the Committee on Education.
