Carolyn Morrell is an underwriting announcer and copy editor for WBUR. She joined the station in early 2023.

Carolyn also hosts the midday show on WXRV The River, and provides the imaging voice for ACK-FM (Nantucket). She's held both roles since 2012 and has been a national voice-over actor for a few decades.

Earlier, she was an announcer at WBOS, KKSF (San Francisco), and an arts and entertainment reporter at WFNX. She graduated from Bowdoin College.

In her free time, she writes and hosts trivia and sings with an a cappella group. Her hobbies include skiing, tennis and (inevitably) pickleball.
