H. C. Robinson is associate professor of law and sociology at Northeastern University, where she studies interactions between technology, workers and the law. She is writing a book on algorithmic workplaces and how to regulate them, expanding on a field study of Uber drivers she conducted in Boston while a Ph.D. student at MIT.
