Julie Allen is a senior fellow in the Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative.  She currently serves as chair of the board of directors of Read Ahead, a reading-based mentoring organization serving NYC public grammar school children, and is a member of the advisory board of the Harvard Kennedy School Carr Center for Human Rights Policy.
