Katie manages membership and development operations for WBUR. Her team guides frontline fundraising strategy through data analysis and reporting, prospect research, communications, events and gift entry.

Before WBUR, Katie worked as senior manager of development at Boston Children’s Museum, managing individual giving and events. Earlier, Katie served as executive director of Gargiulo Education Center, a Florida nonprofit providing out-of-school-time services to migrant students. As executive director, Katie oversaw educational and administrative functions. She transitioned the organization to an autonomous nonprofit after a decade operating under fiscal sponsors.

Katie earned a MBA in finance, as well as BA degrees in history and Latin American studies, from Boston University.
