Makeeba McCreary, Ed.D., serves as president of the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund (NCF). Prior to joining NCF, Makeeba was a senior leader at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and served as the managing director and senior advisor of external affairs for Boston Public Schools, reporting directly to the mayor and superintendent of schools. Makeeba has a 17-year-old son and lives in Jamaica Plain.
