Pete Matthews is the Executive Director, Business Partnerships overseeing underwriting and sponsorship efforts across WBUR's multimedia platform on-air, online, on demand, and event as well as program syndication of our award winning shows, On Point and Here & Now. Prior to joining WBUR, he was with The Atlantic, where he led the team responsible for cross-platform sales across the financial services industry. Before that, he spent nearly five years managing some of the largest advertiser and partner relationships in the US and Asia Pacific for Seeking Alpha.

Beyond The Atlantic, Pete has worked for many storied news organizations from Newsweek to TIME to The Wall Street Journal to CNNMoney. He has listened to, and loved, public radio for as long as he can remember. Pete holds BAs in Theatre Arts and Spanish from the Penn State University.
