Shane Snowdon, who edited the Boston-based feminist journal "Sojourner" in the 1980s, was inspired by Bella Abzug to become a full-time advocate for LGBTQ+ issues. She is a lecturer at George Washington University, and a Health Policy and Management Associate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
