Jon-Paul Kroger trained the Gardner Museum security guards for the overnight shift. He claims there would be no reason a security guard who he trained would open the door to the museum after hours, not even for police officers. He explained that, in that case, the protocol would be to get the name and badge number, call and verify their identity, and only let them in if there were a legitimate reason.
