Fidelity Investments, Boston's investment giant, is changing leadership.

Abigail Johnson, of Milton, is taking over as chair. It's hardly unexpected news. She takes the reins from her father, Edward C. "Ned" Johnson III, who founded the firm in 1946. Abigail has long been considered heir apparent — and the acting leader — but just what does the change mean for the firm and its place in Boston?

Peter Cohan, who teaches strategy and entrepreneurship at Babson College, joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss.

This segment aired on November 22, 2016.
