Subversive Choppers' Urban Legion

The Tour de France may be ending in Paris this weekend, but in Somerville there is a pack of cyclists that never stops.

The Subversive Choppers' Urban Legion, also known as 'SCUL' lifts off every Saturday night at 10:30 p.m.

A pack of around thirty cyclists, aged 20 to 40, ride bikes that have been welded into unusual shapes. The riders howl, ring their bike bells, stop to dance and to get naked. It's all part of creating an alternative bicycle universe.
