Contractor Questions "Veracity" of Big Dig Memo

The company that installed the ceiling panels which collapsed in the I-90 Connector is denying it ever received a memo of concern from its on-site safety officer. John Keaveney, then an employee of Big Dig contractor Modern Continental, says he wrote a memo to his bosses in 1999, expressing worries about the method used to install the tunnel ceiling. Modern Continental now says that memo is "a fabrication."
