Hub Business Amid Big Dig Closures

Tourism officials say hotel occupancy rates and convention business are holding steady amid the Big Dig closures that followed a fatal ceiling failure last month. The longer term forecast for commerce in the Hub is not yet clear because it will be a few weeks before the state's revenue department can report figures for July. In the meantime, though, companies in one Boston neighborhood say the tunnel closures have made doing business more difficult.
