Jeffrey and Michael Derderian have formally pleaded no contest to 100 counts each of involuntary manslaughter for a 2003 nightclub fire in Rhode Island that killed 100 people.
Under a plea bargain, Michael Dederian was sentenced to four years in prison. His brother Jeffrey was given a suspended sentence with no jail time.
The plea was entered today as families of some of those killed or injured in the Station Nightclub fire, delivered emotional victim impact statements at the sentencing hearing.
