TD Banknorth cuts 400
TD Banknorth is cutting 400 jobs and closing or consolidating 24 branches.
Two branches and 70 of the jobs are in Massachusetts.
TD Banknorth will make the changes over the next several months with the goal of reducing operating expenses by 5 percent.
