This year movies set in and around Boston — from "The Fighter" to "The Social Network" to "The Town" — are up for Oscars, with an unusually large number of nominations.

It might be the biggest year for the Hub since Matt Damon and Ben Affleck scored nine nominations (and two statues) for the film "Good Will Hunting" in 1998.

In a nod to the Massachusetts films up for honors this time around, the local comedy group Improv Asylum has put together a movie trailer that mashes together all of these films into one. It's called "The Oscar Winning Boston Movie:"

Let's hope it's hooray for Boston instead of Hollywood Sunday night.
