Power Restored In Malden, Medford And Everett

Update: Power has been restored in Medford, Malden and Everett, according to a National Grid spokesperson.

National Grid is reporting thousands of residents in Medford, Malden and Everett are without power Friday morning. According to a power outage map on the National Grid website, at least 21,000 residents were affected as of 10 a.m.

A company spokesperson did not immediately reply to a phone call to comment.

So far there is no word on the cause of the outages.
