WBUR is remembering Sept. 11 through the stories of men and women from around Massachusetts whose lives were touched that day — those who lost loved ones, those who responded and those whose lives were affected in more unexpected ways.

Lev Mamuya was just a little kid when the country was attacked on 9/11. Now he's 14 years old, a student at Roxbury Latin and a cello prodigy. For the 10th anniversary of the attacks, he's been asked to compose a piece remembering the day. Lev joined us in our studios and spoke about finding inspiration for an event he can hardly remember.
