Local Party Store Sells 'Whitey' Bulger Halloween Costume

The party supply store iParty is selling a limited-edition James "Whitey" Bulger costume for Halloween.

Between 12 and 20 of the orange jumpsuits that say “Whitey” on the back and "Busted" on the front were sent to each of iParty’s 52 locations. About half of the stores are in Massachusetts.

The jumpsuit costs $39.99 and there were only five left at the West Roxbury location as of 2 p.m. Friday.

Bulger, the former mob boss, who is accused having a role in 19 murders, evaded the FBI for 16 years before being arrested in June in Santa Monica, Calif., along with his longtime girlfriend. He is currently being held without bail in Massachusetts, awaiting his federal trial.
