A 'Somber' Monday For Patriots Fans

It was a long wait Monday for many New England Patriots fans who were trying to get home from the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.

Pats fan Jesse Carr, from East Providence, R.I., was at the game Sunday night with his father and his brother.

"Today’s been a pretty somber day," Carr said at the airport here.

They watched the loss from above the end zone. Carr got frustrated Monday when he saw the highlights.

"The drops were brutal," he said. "I didn’t realize how bad they were, because some of the plays were far away from us. You didn’t see them. But wow — terrible."

Carr thinks the Patriots were under-prepared for the Super Bowl.

Fortunately, he didn't see many Giants fans Monday.
