Dozens of Boston musicians are on this year's nominees list for the 54th annual Grammy Awards, which will air on Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS. We've collected a sampling of these Boston musicians.

Pianist-composer Fred Hersch, a New England Conservatory jazz studies faculty member and alumnus, received two nominations in the Best Improvised Jazz Solo and Best Jazz Instrumental Album categories for "Alone at the Vanguard," bringing him to a total of three Grammy nominations.

From Boston University, Marsh Chapel musicians Scott Jarrett and Justin Blackwell played piano on the nominated Seraphic Fire album.
