It was a big day for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney Tuesday as he won in six of the 10 super Tuesday primary contests and took a majority of the delegates.

Romney easily won in Massachusetts, getting 72 percent of the vote and taking all 38 delegates.

In addition to Massachusetts, Romney won in Ohio, Idaho, Vermont, Virginia and Alaska.

The biggest and the closest race was in Ohio, where Romney just edged out Santorum, 38 to 37 percent.

WBUR’s political team, Republican analyst Todd Domke and Democratic analyst Dan Payne, joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the results.
