Tea Party Ship Returns To Boston

Restored and retrofitted, the Beaver, a 103-year-old brig, has returned to Boston.

One of three ships slated for the rebuilt Boston Tea Party Museum in Fort Point Channel, the Beaver left for Gloucester for restoration after a fire nearly destroyed the museum in 2001. The new museum is scheduled to open on June 25.

The other two ships, the Eleanor and the Dartmouth, are currently being designed and built.
