Video: Google's Schmidt Speaks At BU Commencement

While news coverage of Sunday's Boston University commencement focused primarily on tributes to the four students who died this academic year, the ceremony's speaker, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, has also drawn significant interest.

“You’re connected to each other in ways those who came before you could never have dreamed of," Schmidt told graduates, according to BU Today. "You’re using these connections to strengthen the invisible ties that hold humanity together and to deepen our understanding of the world around us." Schmidt also reportedly told graduates to be "an adorer of life."

This program aired on May 21, 2012. The audio for this program is not available.
