The two weeks of high political drama are over.

After the Republicans closed their convention a week ago, the Democrats wrapped up theirs Thursday night here in Charlotte, after hearing from the man they hope to put back in the White House: President Obama.

To talk about the president's speech and what comes next in the campaign, Democratic analyst Dan Payne and Republican analyst Todd Domke joined Morning Edition Friday.
