Guatemalan Children Serenade Kerry With 'Sweet Caroline'

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, the former Massachusetts senator, got a touching reminder of his Boston roots in Guatemala this week.

While Kerry was visiting a State Department educational program in Antigua, Guatemala, on Wednesday, children there serenaded him with a rendition of "Sweet Caroline," the Neil Diamond song now an eighth-inning staple of home Red Sox games.

After applauding the performance and touching his heart, Kerry told the kids: "You have to come to Fenway Park and sing that with the Red Sox."
