A group of casino opponents has until 5 p.m. Wednesday to submit the roughly 69,000 certified signatures necessary to help get their plan to repeal the state's gambling law on the November 2014 ballot.

The group got a court injunction that allowed them to collect signatures even though Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley disqualified the question, saying it violated the state's constitution. They are still appealing that decision.

Former Massachusetts Attorney General Scott Harshbarger, one the leaders of the "Repeal the Casino Deal" effort, joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the group's progress.

This program aired on November 20, 2013.
