Gov. Patrick To Deliver Final State Of The Commonwealth Address

Gov. Deval Patrick delivers his final State of the Commonwealth address Tuesday night. Traditionally, some political and policy drama surrounds the address, which was to come last week. But a snow storm last week stole the governor’s thunder, and he had to postpone the event until tonight.

In the meantime, the governor had to deliver his new state budget plan, so we already know about his budget priorities for the coming year. Tufts University political science professor Jeff Berry joined WBUR's Morning Edition to talk about the speech.
