24-Hour Safety Exercise Tests First Responders

This past weekend Boston played host to the largest public safety exercise in city history. Two-thousand first responders participated from Boston and eight surrounding communities. Dubbed Urban Shield, this 24-hour-long series of drills was designed to test and stress personnel, emergency tactics and procedures.
