After some recent high-profile special elections, Massachusetts voters will soon be going to the polls for regularly scheduled elections for Congress, one of the state's U.S. Senate seats and state offices.

Primary elections are just three months away. As summer approaches, we're taking a look at what candidates in the highest -profile race — the race for governor — have ahead of them.

Republican John Sivolella and Democrat Susan Tracy, two longtime political strategists, join WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the race. Sivolella is a political analyst and attorney, who also teaches political science at Columbia University. Tracy is a former state representative and president of the Strategy Group.
