Fatal Mass. Crash Seen As Linked To R.I. Hit-And-Run

One person has died and two others were injured in a crash involving two vehicles in Attleboro.

When police responded late Saturday night, a passerby had put out a vehicle fire by using fire extinguishers from a nearby gas station.

A preliminary investigation shows one vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle. Police are investigating reports that the first vehicle had been involved in a hit-and-run accident in nearby Pawtucket, R.I.

NECN reports that an unidentified a 37-year-old man died at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
