Retailers Designate 'Sensory-Friendly' Shopping Hours For Children With Autism

An estimated one in 68 children are thought to be on the autism spectrum. A common trait for many people with autism is over-stimulation by noise, lights or other trappings of modern life. As families complete their back to school shopping, some Massachusetts retailers are trying to help.
