Charlie Baker And Wife Discuss Governor's Race In Dead Heat

Download Audio

As part of our ongoing series of conversations with the gubernatorial candidates, WBUR’s Bob Oakes speaks with Republican Charlie Baker and his wife, Lauren, in the kitchen of their Swampscott home.

With the race for Massachusetts governor less than two weeks away and in a statistical dead heat between Baker and opponent Democrat Martha Coakley, Oakes quickly brought the conversation to politics.

Oakes asked Lauren Baker for her reaction to Coakley's comments that her husband only sees the bottom line and overlooks the people affected in his decisions. Hear the full Morning Edition interview in the audio player above.

This segment aired on October 23, 2014.
