Watertown Shootout Was Justified, Middlesex DA Investigation Concludes

Watertown was the site of a massive shootout two years ago as police tried to apprehend the Boston Marathon Bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan has now closed her investigation into the shootout that night and concluded that police officers were justified in opening fire. The report provides new details, including that a ricocheting bullet from a fellow officer may have injured policeman Dic Donohue.
