With election season now in full swing, Republican candidates for president had a second chance to introduce themselves to voters during Thursday night's prime-time debate.

Early on, front-runner Donald Trump found himself under attack by several of the other candidates. Trump then went on the offensive himself against former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and his family.

Candidates found themselves in general agreement on many issues, but disagreed on just how to address them.

Dan Lothian, a former White House correspondent for CNN, joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss how the candidates fared.

This segment aired on September 17, 2015.
