Long Process Ahead To Completely Shut Down Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant In Plymouth

The complete shut down of Massachusetts' only nuclear power plant could take decades.

The owner says the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth is no longer financially viable and will be closed by the middle of 2019 — but that's just the beginning of the decommissioning process.
