Vice President Joe Biden will not run for president. In a speech at the Rose Garden Wednesday afternoon, flanked by his wife Jill and President Obama, Biden cited his family's grief over the recent death of his son, 46-year-old Beau Biden.
But how does Biden's decision influence the race right now? In a new WBUR poll out Wednesday on the New Hampshire race, Biden had just 9 percent of support among Democratic primary voters with slipping favorability figures.
To consider the impact of Biden's decision not to enter the race, Steve Koczela, president of the MassINC Polling Group that conducted the poll for WBUR, joined All Things Considered.
