Boston Mayor Marty Walsh says he supports charter schools but is opposed to ballot Question 2, which would allow the state to add up to 12 new charter schools a year.

Walsh appears in a new campaign ad against the ballot question, which was released Friday morning by the group Save Our Public Schools.

We spoke with Question 2 supporter, Gov. Charlie Baker, earlier this week. On Friday, Walsh joined Morning Edition to discuss his opposition to the ballot question.

This segment aired on November 4, 2016.
