President Trump on Wednesday reveals his plan to overhaul the tax code, and it's expected to include some big rate cuts.

The president has previously said he wants to slash the 35 percent corporate tax rate, even though most big companies avoid paying that full rate after deductions.

Massachusetts U.S. Rep. Richard Neal, the top Democrat on the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, joined WBUR to discuss the plan.

This segment aired on April 26, 2017.
