For at least a little while, Boston's waterfront is a scene from a bygone era. Sail and rigging and mast are set against the glass and steel of the cityscape as tall ships dock in Boston Harbor. It's part of the Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta. Saturday was the first time in 17 years that the city experienced the Grand Parade of Sail.

WBUR's Sharon Brody joined the crowds along the Harborwalk on Long Wharf taking in the sights and sounds of Sail Boston 2017.
