Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found At Jewish Cemetery In Fall River

Police are investigating anti-Semitic messages and Nazi imagery scrawled on about two dozen gravestones at a Jewish cemetery in Fall River.

Fall River police said on Facebook Tuesday that the vandalism at the Hebrew Cemetery in the city occurred over the weekend.

Police said approximately 25 gravestones were tagged with swastikas and phrases including "Heil Hitler" and "Hitler was right" written in black marker.

According to the Herald News, one stone was tagged with "Oy vey! This is MAGA country," an apparent reference to President Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again."

Police said they received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the cemetery on two separate occasions but after investigation they said the vehicle was not related to the graffiti.

Both Fall River police and the Anti-Defamation League of New England are offering rewards to anyone who provides information that leads to the apprehension of a suspect or suspects.
